This study will answer two research questions, first: how is the potential involvement of the younger generation in terror acts (exposed to irhabiyah ideology), second: what are the preventive measures so that the younger generation is not exposed to irhabiyah ideology. This research method is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation by analyzing documents and texts related to the research theme. This study revealed that the actions that occurred involved the younger generation such as the Surabaya bombing case, the ISIS case and the Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTF) phenomenon and the JAD (Jamaah Ansharut Daulah) terror attacks, these terror actions involving the younger generation occurred due to an identity crisis, online radicalization and a lack of moderation and tolerance education. This condition can be prevented by the institutionalization of activities that protect the younger generation from irhabiyah ideology, namely the Youth Of Festival (YOI) activity carried out by the Community Empowerment Sub-Directorate of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) and the Terrorism Prevention Communication Forum (FKPT). Through this program, young people are given the opportunity to be actively involved in efforts to prevent radicalism and terrorism with a more inclusive and proactive approach. This study concludes that a program is needed that strengthens unity and diversity and creates a more peaceful and harmonious environment among the young generation of Indonesia.
